Margee Minier-Tubbs

Margee Minier-Tubbs is a multi-faceted artist with a diverse international and music background and prolific career. A songwriter and innovative lyricist, she holds a degree in Fashion Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology and La Sorbonne in Paris, France, is a French translator, has lived & worked in 21 countries. After a decade creating fashion trend reports, Margee became a mother and Montessori teacher teaching French thru music, the arts, and cultural understanding, created & taught the program French Fantastique and Impressionistic Art through the eyes of a child and currently teaches fashion design, sewing, and French to children age 3 – 17. She worked as a translator in the Music Industry at MIDEM, Cannes, France attending World Music Festivals, worked with musicians & composers from around the world. She studied classical piano 2 years, jazz piano 3 years, ballet & dance 15 years. Margee is married to acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Premik Russell Tubbs. They have created a unique, new concept in children’s music, Pathways!

Premik Russell Tubbs multi-instrumentalist with a music career spanning 5 decades. Among our world’s most talented, he is a virtuoso master of soprano, tenor & alto saxophones, all genres of flutes, lap steel guitar & EWI. He is renowned for his brilliance which spans all arenas from jazz fusion to traditional eastern mellifluous melodies, to his own ingenious soul-infused improvisation. He is a skilled innovator & prolific artist whose unique approach brings both a cosmic & spiritual vibe to the sound he projects. A composer, recording artist, producer, & instructor whose distinctive career continues to flourish. Premik has toured the world, has performed &/or recorded with Carlos Santana, John McLaughlin and The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Whitney Houston, Sting, Herbie Hancock, Ravi Shankar, Krishna Das, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Billy Joel, James Taylor, the list goes on... Premik is the on-call wind player for Grammy winning producer Will Ackerman, founder of Windham Hill Records.
