Adam "Spud" Shaw

Adam "Spud" Shaw

Adam Shaw (who also goes by the name of Spud) is a math teacher, music minister, and videographer from Hudson, NH.  For most of his life, he has been involved at his parish Immaculate Conception in Nashua, NH as a leader in the Life Teen program and as a musician in the Life Teen Music Ministry. He has also played at different parishes for retreats and workshops. Something stirred inside of him when he first attended Mass at his parish, and his life has changed ever since.

Music has brought him closer to the Lord, and after many years of being a musician, he has come to understand why the gift of music has been given to him in the first place: for the glory of God, and it’s in his heart to call others to serve and worship God through song and praise. Adam sings and plays many different instruments including acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, piano. Adam also composes music in his spare (but busy) time.

Adam teaches middle school mathematics at Presentation of Mary, Academy in Hudson, NH, and has a Masters degree in Math Education.

Adam has been happily married to Lydia Shaw and has three children.
