Jackie Silberg's Head Start song was written in 1985 for the National Head Start Conference in Dallas, Texas. Jackie sang and taught it to the audience at the start of the opening Head Start meeting 
     Copyrighted to Jackie Silberg, this Head Start Song continues to be performed at many Head Start programs throughout the United States. The words express all of the important skills that Head Start teaches young children, and is intended to foster self-esteem.
